KEEPING IT SIMPLE. Words and images to document the ordinary, the detail and the minutiae of life.

They are back

Living in the roof space over our bedroom. They venture out every evening at 7.30pm and return at 4.30am (on the dot). I thought I had sealed all entry points along the roof line.............

Last week I stood in the garden and watched as two pink snouts poked out through a 2x2 inch hole under our tin roof, followed by wriggling bodies the size of a small cat. Off the possums went, along the fence and up into the trees.

Now, at 7.30pm Dog patrols the fenceline, if they sense him there, they take to the television ariel and wait for me to call him in.
